Meet the Heart Behind The Lodi Local Mercantile

Hi there — I’m Kellee, proud owner of The Lodi Local Mercantile, LLC. My roots run deep right here in the Lodi, Ohio area. My ancestors settled in this area many moons ago. I grew up on Bank Street surrounded by great family, friends, and neighbors. After high school, I followed my passion for animal care and went to college to become a veterinary technician. I then traveled the globe and lived in Georgia and Kentucky. But my heart led me back home. To the land of the best sweet corn and strawberries. :)

Over the years, I’ve raised many kinds livestock, cared for countless pets, and developed a lifelong appreciation for animal health and farm life. I’ve always loved the rhythms of rural living; from tending gardens and canning the season’s harvest to hobnobbing with folks at local businesses and events.

Those experiences inspired me to create The Lodi Local Mercantile, an online store (and soon to be physical store) that celebrates everything we love about small town life and country living. Here, you’ll find animal feed and farm supplies alongside country living inspired gifts, clothing, jewelry, toys, and home décor — all chosen with care, quality, and country charm in mind. My goal is to bring the spirit of the feed store and the warmth of small-town hospitality to you, no matter where you live.
