Spelt Flour from right here in Ohio!Ohio Till Farms Spelt Flour is a great all-purpose baking flour. From pastries to breads, it can do it all! Spelt is an ancient grain, known for it's many health benefits over modern wheat. Our Spelt is ground by us in an Organic crop rotation and custom stone milled by our friends at Local Millers in Columbus. This is the spelt bread recipe I used: 1 1/4 cups warm water 3 tablespoons olive oil 2 tablespoons honey 2 3/4 cups spelt flour 1 cup bread flour 1/2 teaspoon sea salt 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast Combine flours, instant yeast and sea salt in the bowl of a stand mixer. Add in olive oil, honey and warm water. Using the dough hook, knead for 7 minutes. Grease the bowl and allow the dough to rise 1 hour, or until doubled. On a floured work surface, shape the dough into a loaf. Place in a lightly greased loaf pan. Cover with a towel and allow to rise 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
